Sacred Resins

Resins are hardened, aromatic saps harvested directly from trees and plants, and some of the oldest sacred substances known to humanity. Valued across cultures for thousands of years, they have been burned in ceremony, used as medicine, and carried as tools for spiritual protection and healing. To use them, simply place a small piece on a lit charcoal disc and allow the heat to slowly melt and release their aromatic smoke.

Resins

Price per OZ

Benzoin

$3

A warm, vanilla-like resin from Southeast Asia treasured for its purifying and grounding properties in spiritual practice, and used medicinally as an expectorant and skin healer. Burned on charcoal to create a sweet, balsamic smoke that clears and consecrates a space; also used as a fixative in natural perfumery and as a tincture for respiratory and skin support.

Copal

$3

Sacred to Mesoamerican cultures for thousands of years, copal is used to cleanse energy, honor ancestors, and open pathways for prayer and ceremony. Burned on charcoal as an incense with a bright, citrusy-pine scent; a cornerstone resin for altar work, ritual, and spiritual cleansing.

Dragon's Blood

$10

One of the most potent and protective resins in the apothecary, Dragon's Blood is used to amplify intentions, banish negativity, and add power to any ritual or spell work. Burned as incense on charcoal for its deep, earthy-sweet scent; also used in natural dyes, protective formulas, and as a wound-healing resin in traditional medicine.

Gum Arabic

$3

A gentle, water-soluble resin harvested from acacia trees, valued for its soothing properties for the throat and digestive tract and as a binding agent in herbal preparations. Dissolved in water as a soothing drink for gut and throat support, and widely used as a natural binder in incense-making, food, and herbal formulations.

Frankincense

$3

One of the most ancient and revered resins in the world, frankincense supports deep meditation, spiritual connection, immune health, and anti-inflammatory healing. Burned on charcoal for its sacred, woody-citrus smoke in ceremony and daily ritual; also prepared as an oil or taken as a supplement for joint and immune support.

Frankincense & Myrrh

$3

A timeless pairing of two of the world's most sacred resins, this blend combines frankincense's uplifting, clarifying energy with myrrh's grounding, protective depth. Burned together on charcoal for a rich, resinous incense ideal for meditation, ceremony, prayer, and creating sacred space.

Myrrh

$5

An ancient resin with deep roots in spiritual and medicinal traditions across cultures, myrrh is grounding, protective, and powerfully healing for the body and spirit. Burned on charcoal as a rich, smoky incense for ritual and ceremony; also used as a tincture or infused oil for oral health, wound healing, and immune support.
